    I actually quite like the idea of getting certified to be a VA, and I think that this may just be worth it now that I look it over a bit. Competition is getting very fierce, and thousands of people have experience, but yet do not have the certified training behind them. That may be what gets you that next job over the next person.

    I absolutely agree with you guys. It was much easier in the past to become a VA but there certainly are a lot more people nowadays who are trying to make a living from being a virtual assistant. Getting certified can get you that edge in the market place.

    I think that would be a great idea as well. In fact what I think should be done is niche training.

    For example… VA training for article marketing… link building, website creation, and on and on.

    I know that I would be a lot more likely to hire and trust somebody who specialized in a particular area. That is actually worth more than a normal payday in my opinion.
